Admin Panel Overview

The Shop Craft admin panel is your central hub for managing every aspect of your online store. From adding products to processing orders and configuring settings, everything is accessible through a clean, easy-to-use interface.

Accessing the Admin Panel

Open your browser and go to:

https://yourdomain.com/admin/login

Log in with the administrator email and password you created during installation.

First Time?

If you just finished installing Shop Craft, use the admin credentials you set up in Step 9 of the installation wizard.

Admin Sidebar Navigation

Once logged in, you will see a sidebar on the left with the following sections:

Section	What It Does
Dashboard	View sales stats, recent orders, low stock alerts, and analytics charts
Products	Add, edit, and manage your product catalog with variants, images, and pricing
Categories	Organize products into categories and subcategories
Orders	View and process customer orders, update shipping status, download invoices
Customers	View customer accounts, order history, and contact details
Transactions	Track all payment transactions across gateways
Pages	Create and edit content pages like Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and About Us
Users	Manage admin and staff accounts (Admin-only)
Settings	Configure store details, payment gateways, shipping rates, and more

Quick Actions

Here are the most common tasks you will perform and where to find them:

• Add a new product — Go to Products, then click "Add Product"
• Process an order — Go to Orders, click an order, then update its status
• Change your store name or logo — Go to Settings, then the Store tab
• Set up a payment gateway — Go to Settings, then the Payment tab
• Create a discount coupon — Go to Settings, then navigate to the Coupons section
• Edit your privacy policy — Go to Pages, then click on the Privacy Policy page

Your Profile

Click your name in the top-right corner of the admin panel to access your profile page. From there, you can update your name, email address, and password.

WARNING

Keep your admin credentials secure. Do not share your login details with anyone who should not have full access to your store. Use the Users section to create staff accounts with limited access instead.

Dark Mode

The admin panel supports both light and dark mode. Click the sun/moon icon in the top navigation bar to toggle between them. Your preference is saved automatically.
